Our pastor encourages the New Beginning Family and Friends to attend Wednesday Mid-Week Service at 7:00 pm for teaching and encouragement from the Word of God. Noon Day Bible Study is held every Wednesday at 12 noon on the first floor of the Educational Building. Church School every Sunday morning at 9:00 am. Classes for everyone!
Our new Sunday morning times have started: Worship Service is starts at 9:45 am. Church School and Orientation Classes start at 8:30 am.

Saturday Morning Intercessory Prayer: Our pastor, passionately, encourages the New Beginning Family and our ministries to come out for intercessory prayer on Saturdays, 8 am - 9 am in the sanctuary.
The Veteran's Outreach Ministry will meet this Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:00 am.
It's time again for another exciting session of School of Ministry! We are looking forward to our fall session: "Following Jesus? An Introduction to Discipleship" starting Saturday, October 12th at 9:30 am. to 10:45 am. This 5 week course will be taught by Elder Lawrence Guyton.
Orientation Ministry Announcement: Have you considered exercising your gift in the New Member's Orientation Ministry? If so, pray about it and contact Deacon Sharon Darden by leaving a message with the church office staff at 404-50-1400. Ministry needs include: alter leads/contact assistants, door attendants, office assistants and teachers. Training will be provided! After a long break, New Members Orientation for children and youth have resumed at our new starting time, 8:30 am. Classes for adults and children are held in education building. The Youth Ministry's TRUNK'A TREAT will be Wednesday, October 30th. It is a fun evening with games, food, fun and CANDY! Please support by donating candy. You may give candy donations to any youth worker or drop in designated bins. Thank you!
Our Pastor and the New Beginning Family will fellowship with Rev. Bill Gilbert and True Faith Family on Sunday, October 27th at 4:00 pm. They will serve dinner prior to service.

New Beginning's van is up and running! Schedule from Decatur and Kensington Marta Station. Wednesdays - Decatur at 6:30 pm; Kensington at 6:45 pm. Sundays - Decatur at 8:30 am; Kensington 8:45 am. Individuals and Ministries please call the church office for scheduling and availabiltity.
The New Beginning Youth Ministry is planning an Exciting Educational and Social Experience for our youth in 2020! We will travel to Washington D.C. during Spring Break Week, April 6-9, 2020. The cost is $407 for room and bus transportation. An $87 was due in September; the next payment, $80 is due October 13, 2019, plus the deposit if it hasn't been paid. As always, we will visit a college in the area and tour many of the historical sites and have social time. Youth/Children under age 11 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian. Entire families are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Parents that are interested may pick up an information package from Sister Mary Mack or Sister Koren McDonald or Elder Jerry Smith.

The 5th Mother Board Ministry Conference Retreat is scheduled for October 24-26, 2019 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The conference is hosted by The Mother's Board Ministry of Clarkston Baptist Church. For more information see Mother Juanita Murphy.
